Secretary

         Ella Kate Puterbaugh is a senior at UA majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science on the Pre-PA track. Originally from Knoxville TN, Ella Kate started dancing at the age of 2 and hasn’t stopped since. Before attending the University of Alabama she trained competitively at Knox Dance Worx and was on the Farragut High School Dance Team for all four years of high school. Knox Dance Worx and Farragut Dance not only allowed Ella Kate to continue her passion for the art of dance, but also allowed her to explore her love of movement, leadership and the exercise science side of dance.

          Ella Kate has been a member of Dance Alabama! since her freshman year and it has been the number one highlight of her college experience. Her favorite part of DA! is getting to meet so many new people who share the same passion for dance. Ella Kate has loved getting the opportunity to continue to perform in the Dance Alabama! concerts! This organization has allowed her to reignite her passion for dance in new ways and she is beyond thankful for that. 


          Ella Kate has served on the last two Production Committees for the DA! concerts! She has loved further exploring other parts of the production process including costuming, sound, and all the behind the scenes things! Ella Kate is so honored to be serving as the Secretary of Dance Alabama! this year! She hopes to continue to grow this organization and leave an impact on everyone in the community by showing everyone how this truly must be the place!
