Vice President

          Ellie Congemi is a Junior double majoring in Dance and Public Relations. She is from New Orleans, Louisiana and began her dance training at the age of two. She attended Off Broadway Dance Studio, where she began competing at the age of nine. Since graduating, Ellie has consistently returned to Off Broadway to teach various classes and set choreography.

          Throughout her time at UA, Ellie has had the chance to dance in multiple pieces for the Dance Alabama! and #SICKMOVES Concerts. In these concerts, she has also showcased her choreography. Ellie has performed in Alabama Repertory Dance Theater, Emerging Choreographer's Showcase, Dance Alabama Film Festival and other on campus performance opportunities. As a sophomore, Ellie held the position of Treasurer on the Dance Alabama! Executive Board. In this position she served as the Executive Director of the second annual #SICKMOVES Concert. 
 
          When she is not dancing, Ellie has held various leadership roles in her sorority, Delta Delta Delta. Some of these positions include Philanthropy Committee, Freshman Recruitment Team, and Recruitment Design Committee. Ellie also works for Believe National Talent Competition, where she attends multiple regional and national competitions throughout the season. 


           Ellie’s most memorable part of her time at UA thus far has been Dance Alabama! and all of the memories and friendships that have come out of it. Ellie is honored to serve as this year’s Vice President for an organization that means so much to her and gives dancers on campus endless opportunities.
