Advocacy Chair

          Izzi Parrott is a senior at UA, majoring in psychology and minoring in criminal justice on the pre-law track. Growing up in Royal Oak, Michigan, Izzi started dancing at the age of 6. Before attending the University of Alabama, she danced at Next Level Dance Center in Troy, Michigan, where she trained and competed alongside her best friends and role models. Through Next Level, her love for dance continued to grow, as well as her love for the community she surrounded herself with.

       Coming to Alabama, Izzi knew she wanted to continue dancing alongside a group of people that shared her passion. She joined Dance Alabama! during her freshman year, and has been grateful for it ever since. The people of DA! are her favorite part of the organization, and she looks forward to every moment spent with them. 

       Being a member of DA! has been a highlight of Izzi’s college experience, and she knew she wanted to be further immersed in the program. This year, she is incredibly honored to be serving as a DA!’s Advocacy Chair! She feels so blessed to be able to give back to the organization that has given so much to her and to serve as support for the dancers. She’s excited to be able to share DA!, and hopes to show everyone the reason why it means so much to so many people.
